Compact disks

From Ffaith

The first independent CD manufacturer, in the world, was Nimbus Records of Monmouth. Not content with making discs the company also created one of the most sucessful Mastering systems sold in the world.

The company's dedication to perfection in music extended to the re-recording of classic records using a reverse engineering process. The results were amazing.

After a chequered history the company was owned by Robert Maxwell and these days is part of the Technicolor / Thomson group. It still manufactures in Wales at Cwmbran.
