What Ffaith is
Ffaith is a compendium of lesser and more widely known facts in celebration of the acheivements of Welsh born people and people connected to Wales.
What Ffaith isn't
It is not a comprehensive encyclopedia of Wales. Nor is it meant to be a travel guide, a promotional aid for Welsh businesses or a link farm for Welsh blogs.
Our aims
We aim to make Ffaith a coffee-time compendium of Wales. The sort of place that people can drop into when they've a spare moment and learn a little bit more about the country, its history and its heritage.
Writing style
Contributions are invited and warmly welcomed but to keep the unique look and feel of ffaith contributors are asked to keep entries brief and conversational.
Adding to articles
As we've already mentioned, ffaith aims to be brief with its facts. If you have a snippet of information about the article you have read you can add it on the relevant page under a new headline but we would prefer it if you added to the See also list (or create one if the article hasn't got one) and start a new related article. Link back to the original article by adding a See also list or by creating a link in the text.
Challenging entries
Sometimes we get things wrong. Hard to believe but true. If you've spotted something that is absolutely patently untrue, or even slightly off beam please use the discussion pages to challenge the article. Please also cite sources to support your claim giving URLs if possible.
