On Monday 14 October 1991 Gwylim Hughes of Dolgellau entered the Guinness Book of Records under 'Most Films Seen in the World'. At that time his record stood at 20,064 films. Since first breaking the record Gwylym has entered the famous record book with a total of 25,000 films seen.
