Horace Blew

From Ffaith

Horace Blew was an interesting footballer in that he represented Wales at an international level 22 times in his career, and was an automatic selection between 1903 and 1909. This despite only ever having played two league games - one for Manchester United, and one for Manchester City!

During the larger part of his career the Wrexham born footballer turned out for his home town team - the then non-league club Wrexham FC representing them a total of 287 times.

He has been inducted into the Welsh Sporting Hall of Fame.
