Mal Evans

Mal Evans was the first Welshman to win the world outdoor bowls title in 1972 at Worthing. He finished fourth at the inaugural championships in 1966. Evans also won Welsh doubles titles with his brother and was a regular international and selector.

He has been inducted into the Welsh Sporting Hall of Fame
