Mike Ruddock

From Ffaith

Blaina born Ruddock coached the Welsh National Rugby team to grand slam success in 2005. A flanker during his playing days, Ruddock played for his hometown club of Blaina, Tredegar and Swansea, scoring 43 tries in 119 games. But surprisingly, he was never capped at senior level for Wales, despite captaining Wales under-16s against England in 1975 and playing for Wales B in 1982.
