Paula Yates

From Ffaith

Born in Colwyn Bay the daughter of Stars on Sunday presenter Jess Yates and actress Heller Toren, Paula was the co-presenter of The Tube with Jools Holland and Channel Four's Big Breakfast. She is probably most famous for her marriage to Bob Geldhof and her tragic affair with INXS lead singer Michael Hutchins.

Paula was always flamboyant and courted controversy. Never was this more evident than in the names she chose for her four daughters - Fifi Trixibell, Peaches, Pixie and Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily. Another shock revelation came late in her life when it was revealed that her blood father was in fact TV presenter Hughie Greene and not Jess Yates.

She died of an accidental drugs overdose in 2000.
