Get linked up
It's no good writing an article for Ffaith if no-one is able to find it. The trick is to make sure that your article is linked - either from an existing article or at least assigned to a category.
Creating a link is easy, simply surround the name of your article (which must be exactly as typed) with double square brackets - like this: [[The name of your article]].
It is good netiquet to assign your article to a category. Your article will not show up under the category listings unless you do. Categories take this form: [[Category:Name of category]]. See Help:Editing#categories for more details on categories.
Preview your text
Ffaith records every edit stage made on every article, this puts a bit of a strain on the database so it is a good idea to use the "Show Preview" button on the edit screen and proof read your new article before saving the page. The preview also has the benefit of highlighting links to pages not created yet, making it instantly apparent whether the page you thought you were linking to exists. Look for red text - page doesn't exist, and blue text - page exists.
Spell checking
Ffaith hasn't got a spell checker (oh, you noticed). If, like me, your spelling is not what it should be, write your article in your favoutite text editor (one with a spell checker) before pasting it into Ffaith's edit pane. Remember to type in plain text format as sometimes funny things happen to punctuation on screen.
Adding footnotes
Footnotes look great if added in small text. This can be achieved like this:<small>Type your footnote between the tags</small>
Which shows up like this :
Type your footnote between the tags
